1. Eligibility. YOU HAVE NOT YET WON. The Newtopia Now Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) sponsored by Informa Media LLC (“Informa”) is open to entrants who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, and legal residents of the United States and Canada (minus Quebec) who qualify under either entry method below. An invitation to enter the Giveaway does not indicate automatic qualification. Employees of Informa, its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and parent companies, sales representatives, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of the immediate families or households of each are not eligible.
2. How to Enter. The entry period starts on or about April 24, 2025, at or around 10 a.m., MST and ends on or about April 28, 2025, at or around 2 p.m., MST (“Entry Period”). During the Entry Period, visit the Newtopia Now and Natural Products Expo West Instagram or LinkedIn accounts, and follow the link to the entry form. Complete the entry form in full no later than April 28, 2025. All entries must be received by April 28, 2025. Limit one entry per person. An email address can be used for one entry only (i.e., multiple persons cannot use the same email address to enter). No mechanically reproduced entries or facsimiles are allowed. Informa is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or other indecipherable or unreadable entries. In the event of a dispute about entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same email account, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Giveaway at the actual time of entry. Proof of entry submission will not be deemed proof of receipt by Informa. The authorized email account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet-access provider, online-service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple entries per email address or any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed, or similar entry methods or agents (including but not limited to sweepstakes entry services) are prohibited and will void all entries by that entrant. Entrants assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries. All entries and information contained therein become the property of Informa and will not be returned.
3. Prizes. Informa will conduct one drawing with one prize, one winner. The winner will receive a trip to attend Newtopia Now in Denver, CO from August 20-22, 2025 (“Newtopia Now”). The prize includes:
(1) A complimentary ticket to attend Newtopia Now, approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $500;
(2) A three (3) night hotel stay at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center during the dates of Newtopia Now, ARV of $837; and
(3) A monetary travel stipend to be provided on a case-by-case basis depending on the travel needs of the winner (not to exceed $500).
The ARV of the total prize package is $1,827 (subject to change). All aspects of the prize package are at the sole and unchallengeable discretion of Informa. Hotel stay will be coordinated by the Expo West team. The Expo West team will confirm travel details and itinerary with the winner. If the total cost for a winner to travel to Newtopia Now is less than $500, the winner is not entitled to the cash value of the difference. The stipend will be provided to the winner upon Informa’s receipt of the winner’s proof of travel. The winner must comply with all prize component venue rules and regulations. If, for whatever reason, Expo West or Newtopia Now is cancelled or postponed, or if any prize component cannot be provided, or in case of unavailability of the advertised prize, Informa reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No prize transfers, assignments, cash redemption, or substitutions except as provided for herein. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prize delivery is subject to product and Informa availability. Prizes are not transferable.
4. Selection of Winners. On or about May 1, 2025, one (1) winner will be selected in one random drawing from among all eligible entries received by April 28, 2025, at 2 p.m., MST. The selection of the winner will be conducted by Informa or its designee, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway. The winner will be contacted no later than May 1, 2025, via email and/or telephone. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. To claim the prize, winners must respond no later than 72 hours after the winner notification is issued (the “Deadline”). If a winner fails to respond by the Deadline, their prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be randomly selected from the pool of qualified entrants and notified via email or telephone. If the winner is from Canada, they will also be required to answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question administered via the telephone. Failure to answer the question correctly within the time period specified will result in disqualification, and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue, at Informa’s sole discretion. Informa and its agents are not responsible for (i) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering, or announcement of the prize, (ii) lost, late, or invalid entries, (iii) electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations, (iv) transmission, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to or alterations of entries, (v) technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer hardware or software malfunctions, (vi) limitations of any kind or inaccurate transmissions, or (vii) failure to receive entry or other Giveaway related information by entrants due to technical problems. Each winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, provide valid ID, and provide a completed W-9 form no later than 7 days of issuance or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of prize.
5. By entering, entrants (i) agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and decisions of the judges; (ii) agree to release Informa and its agents, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, contractors, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Giveaway (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in this Giveaway awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein (including travel to and attending Newtopia Now), and acknowledge Released Parties are not responsible or liable for purchases or subsequent usage of the prize; and (iii) consent to the use of their name, photographs and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, worldwide, in perpetuity, in connection with this Giveaway and/or Expo West and Newtopia Now, by Released Parties, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winners will be responsible for all applicable taxes on their prizes. Subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. Giveaway and all related published ads, promotional materials, online and printed entry forms are the property of Informa.
6. Release of liability. All entrants agree to hold harmless and release all Released Parties from any and all existing or future alleged or actual claims, actions, and liabilities (including, but not limited to, liability for personal injury, bodily injury (including wrongful death or disability), damage to property, and damage or loss of any kind) with respect to or in any way arising from this Giveaway; (i) entry to the Giveaway, (ii) participation in any Giveaway-related activity (including but not limited to attending the Expo West), and/or (iii) delivery/miss-delivery, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including travel to Newtopia Now). Entrants understand there are inherent risks involved in travel and these risks may be present before, during, and after the trip. Released Parties are not liable or responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the Giveaway, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the Giveaway. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure; or theft of, destruction of, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer online systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment; or computer software; or for failure of email or entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to any entrant’s or to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Giveaway or downloading or uploading materials from/to the websites. Released Parties are not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play or conduct of the Giveaway or to defraud Released Parties in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Participants who engage in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prize won. If the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Released Parties which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway, Informa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway and award the prize from among all entries received via the offline methods of entry and/or all online entries received prior to the time of termination.
7. By entering, entrants agree that any personal information provided may be held and used by Informa or its agents and suppliers to administer the Giveaway in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Informa may send tailored information, including industry insights, exclusive networking opportunities, and access to offers for Informa’s events and products, and those of Informa’s selected partners. Entrants may opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe or contacting Informa. The Giveaway and all of the related web pages, content, and code are the property of Informa or its licensors. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited. This Giveaway is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that an entrant is using the Giveaway for gambling purposes, they will be disqualified from participating in the Giveaway and reported to authorities.
